Ayurveda with Yoga for Ailments

Ayurveda and yoga answer the same question from different directions — here they are used together, for ailments of body and mind.

The practice

What Ayurveda with yoga for ailments is

Ayurveda is a healing system that focuses primarily on health. Yoga is an Indian system that improves tone and reduces stress. Ayurveda defines well-being as harmony of the body, mind and higher self, and that drive towards the self is exactly what connects the science to yoga.

Worked together they reach further than either alone: Ayurveda reads the constitution and sets the food, routine and treatment; yoga supplies the movement, breath and attention that carry it through the week.
